I’m Sharif, the founder of Informessor. My path into this field wasn’t a straight line. I finished my bachelor’s degree without knowing this world even existed. It wasn’t until I pursued my Master’s in Health Informatics at Northwestern University that everything clicked. I became fascinated, especially with the analytics side of healthcare. The realization that data could directly shape better patient outcomes, smarter systems, and a stronger healthcare industry sparked a fascination. That fascination became a career, and that career became a calling.
I started Informessor because I saw a subject in healthcare that deserved far more attention than it was getting. Health informatics and healthcare analytics are quietly powering the future of medicine, yet the path into this field remains unclear for so many people who could thrive in it. I wanted to be the driving force that changes that. I wanted to build the pathway I wish existed when I was starting out.
