About Informessor
Informessor exists to help students, early-career professionals, and career pivoters break into and grow within health informatics, healthcare analytics, and health tech. This is a field that sits at the center of where healthcare is heading, yet most people never get a real roadmap for how to enter it, let alone thrive in it. Informessor is that roadmap.
I’m Sharif Athar, the founder of Informessor. My path into this field wasn’t a straight line. I finished my bachelor’s degree without knowing this world even existed. It wasn’t until I pursued my Master’s in Health Informatics at Northwestern University that everything clicked. I became fascinated, especially with the analytics side of healthcare. Realizing that data could directly improve patient outcomes, strengthen systems, and elevate the entire healthcare industry sparked something in me. It turned into a career, and eventually, into a calling.
I started Informessor because I saw a subject in healthcare that deserved far more attention than it was getting. Health informatics and healthcare analytics are quietly powering the future of medicine, yet the path into this field remains unclear for so many people who could thrive in it. I wanted to be the driving force that changes that. I wanted to build the pathway I wish existed when I was starting out.
Every video, and resource on Informessor is built with one goal in mind: to inspire and equip the next generation of health informatics professionals. If I can help even one person find clarity, confidence, and direction in this field, I know I’m helping shape the future of healthcare itself. That’s what excites me every single day.
This platform is personal. It carries my story, my values, and my genuine belief that this field needs more people who care deeply about doing it well.
Welcome to Informessor.
